John has over 35 years experience in all phases of home and business construction. Starting off his career in carpentry and woodworking as a union set builder on Broadway, NYC gave John a unique approach to creating with wood ( and other materials ).

Next was a decade or so designing and building spas around the United States.

This began to bring in the influences that speak to his current style which is a fusion of Japanese and Southwest style woodworking.

The intention to showcase the beauty of the natural world is a big part of Dancing Cedar Woodwork
